- HOW IT BEGAN NFT 365 AND THE MINT 365 EXPERIENCE The idea for NFT 365 was hatched on a train back from NFT NYC on November 6, 2022. Drew Cohen and I talked about how the biggest obstacles to Web 3.0, the metaverse, the creator economy, and NFTs involve education and ease of use. The idea for the podcast was born. The NFT space moves so fast it became clear I would have to do a daily podcast which was a stretch, even for me. I can't even be consistent with my five other podcasts about the day of the week that launches. And then we recognized - this technology, this process will unlock doors and help people be seen. Help people feel as though their voice matters. To add just an extra layer of complexity, I decided that I'd also buy an NFT each day for 365 days in addition to a daily podcast. These wouldn't be just any NFTs from the secondary market; these would have to be minted - meaning the first time each NFT entered onto the blockchain. Taking some inspiration from Beeple, we would then sell the entire collection of NFTs a year later and split the proceeds. Two podcast-related NFTs would be available to help the project and share rewards of the sale as early supporters. Five days later, on 11.11.21, the first episode of NFT 365 was out. And I love numbers - a lot. We would sell the NFT 365 collection on 11.11.22. I had messaged another friend, Kevin, asking if he could do an intro voiceover. The first draft he sent back later that day is almost exactly what you hear on the podcast intro and closing each episode. He also wrote and recorded the music, designed the art for our podcast NFTs and helped with our website and social channels. I've launched lots of content projects over the years. Five podcasts, 3500 live streams, video and influencer projects with IBM, Dell, Samsung, QFC, and Applebee's. I can tell you that this project is about connecting great people with great people and is the best thing that I've ever had the opportunity to create. I challenge everyone to take a step back when thinking about the NFTs that you see, the NFTs you hear people talking about on a regular basis. Consider what they're doing in this metaverse - from the serendipity that NFTs can enable and how we can connect with people who share our passion. That share our common purpose that we all have deep down. We find those people, surround ourselves with those people, and then ultimately lift each other up. So thank you for being here. Thank you for listening and leaving reviews. And I'm excited for the journey that's ahead. Cheers and as always - WE > ME.
- Leo returns to the White House to help bolster the administration, which is suffering from the loss of Josh, Donna, Will, and the Vice President to the next election campaign. Leo's first day back follows President Bartlet's last State of the Union address, and unlike in previous years there appears to be little momentum on bold, large-scale initiatives. Amidst numerous distractions that dilute the focus of the staff (kidnappings in Colombia, the First Lady's appearance at a NASCAR race, and petulant Congressmen), he challenges the administration on their agenda for their remaining year in office.
